01 / P&ID & AS-BUILT

Clear updates.
Consistent drawing records.

Bring approved changes into your P&IDs, align a drawing collection with your standard, or recover editable CAD from legacy files.

Three ways to improve your drawing collection.

A service built around the information you already have.

01 / REDLINE UPDATES

Redline to a clean drawing

Incorporate approved markups, equipment and instrument changes, and revision notes into a clear, consistent drawing.

02 / DRAWING STANDARDS

Drawing standards & ownership conversion

Update title blocks, drawing numbers, text styles, layers, legends and revision information to your company’s standard. Ideal when a facility changes ownership.

03 / LEGACY FILES

PDF & scan-to-CAD reconstruction

Reconstruct editable CAD from older drawings without editable originals. Organize the files to your agreed standard and provide matching PDFs.

Redline to a clean drawing.

Compare the supplied markup with the updated drawing. Instrument additions and tag corrections are incorporated into a consistent drawing record.

Available to clients in Canada only. Requests are reviewed for eligibility and scope. Approval is required before work begins.

Demonstration · Illustrative drawing, not for construction.

Test one drawing. Then scale with confidence.

A representative test confirms the approach before repetitive work begins.

  • For standards conversion, verify title blocks, attributes, layers and plotting.
  • For PDF or scan reconstruction, verify useful editability, dimensions, text and opening in your CAD software.
  • Clear vector PDFs are a stronger starting point than blurry scans. Missing information is raised for clarification.
  • Deliver editable DWGs, matching PDFs and the agreed change log or revision record.

A few things worth clarifying.

Can you convert drawings after a facility acquisition?

Yes. We can align the collection with the new owner’s drafting standard, including title blocks, drawing numbers, styles, layers, legends and revision information. We first test one representative drawing.

Will a reconstructed DWG be useful to edit?

That is the goal. The test checks actual editability, dimensional accuracy, readable text, plotting and compatibility with your CAD software. Creating a DWG file alone is not sufficient.

How are as-built changes confirmed?

We incorporate changes supplied and verified by your responsible project team. Field verification and engineering approval are separate from drafting.
